The Passage Bar at El Paseo opened with a bang! Sammy Hagar and Bar Manager Steve Gizzi debuted the restaurant’s brand new spirits and cocktail menu on Wednesday, February 1, which included six newly designed flagship cocktails, while Executive Chef Henry Cortez unveiled his new bar food menu which consists of several shareable dishes and small plates.
Everyone gathered around as Sammy shared how each drink was perfectly crafted with unique flavors and top shelf spirits such as Old Potrero Rye, St. George Terroir Gin, Elmer T. Lee Bourbon, and some of Sammy’s very own signature brands including including the chart-topping Cabo Wabo Tequila, the award-winning Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, and the recently launched Santo Mezquila – his newest agave product in partnership with Maroon 5 frontman and fellow Grammy winner, Adam Levine. They were paired with savory bites from the new bar food menu such as Prosciutto Wrapped Pineapple and Shrimp in Sofrito. Guests can now enjoy The Passage Bar’s new cocktail and food menu daily. The bar is open Sunday through Thursday, 4 – 9 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 4 – 10 pm. Cheers!
